
Peter gets some advice from the swami. In the end it didn't really help them much, but it did make for a cool scene.


I had to include these pictures because I think the expression on Peter's face and the expression on the girl's face
are both hysterical.

The Black Box. In the real world it was the place the Monkees hung out on the set of their show, but in the film
it had much more sinister connotations. Being trapped is one of those things that's universally scary (I know I always
hate having to go into the walk-in cooler at the restaurant where I work), so it's a very effective image.

The Monkees escape the Black Box only to end up trapped in a tank. I think the guys were resigning themselves to
the fact that they were always going to be Monkees through this scene. Which is a very true sentiment; 'member of the
Monkees' has always overshadowed everything else they've ever done.
